MAP
Earmarkable digital euro

Take advantage of the only digital euro available in France today.

To earmark your flows: for whom, for what, when, how much, where and how. All of it traced on a tamper-proof blockchain, for indisputable tracking and audit. MAP is a regulated fintech providing this earmarkable digital euro and the payment methods that go with it: a real account with an IBAN, a universal payment card, QR code, under AI supervision. Your beneficiaries pay in shops, online and anywhere in the world.

The circuit

From transfer to payment, four steps.

The mechanism is the same for distributing funds and for collecting them.

  1. You pay in the funds

By transfer, alone or with others. Each contribution stays attached to the programme it finances.

  2. They become digital euros

One digital euro for each euro received. They are split into envelopes, one per beneficiary.

  3. Your rules apply

Before each payment, MAP checks: who is spending, when, how much, where, for what.

  4. The beneficiary pays

By card, by transfer or by QR code, at the suppliers you have authorised.

Every operation is checked before it is executed. A payment outside the rules is refused on the spot.

Every accepted payment is recorded on the blockchain: amount, supplier, date, rule applied.

What has not been spent does not disappear: balances and refunds follow the programme contract.

Benefits

What the earmarkable digital euro changes, in seven points.

Choose a point: you see what it settles, for the funder and for the beneficiary.

Concrete

Real means of payment, not vouchers.

What it settles
The beneficiary does not pay out of their own pocket.
Nobody fills in an expense claim, nobody waits for a reimbursement.
No paper voucher or code to hand out: they pay as with any other card.
Under your rules

The rules apply before the spend, not after.

What it settles
You choose the beneficiaries, the ceilings, the period, the authorised suppliers.
You change a rule without redistributing anything.
A spend outside the rules is refused on the spot, not discovered three months later.
Recorded

Every payment leaves a record that cannot be altered.

What it settles
Amount, supplier, date and rule applied are recorded.
The record is sealed on the blockchain: altering it breaks the chain, so it shows.
Your exports can be used as they are for a check or an audit.
Transparent

Every funder sees what their euro paid for.

What it settles
Each contribution stays linked to the programme it finances.
The contributor sees real payments, not an annual report.
Each role sees what concerns it, and nothing more.
In real time

You see the spend the moment it happens.

What it settles
No waiting for a monthly statement.
The remaining budget can be read at any time, envelope by envelope.
The programme’s indicators are calculated as payments come in.
Regulated

An authorised institution, with funds kept apart from our own.

What it settles
MAP is authorised by the ACPR as an electronic money institution, no. 17698.
Funds received are held at BNP Paribas, separate from MAP’s accounts.
All operations are checked before they are executed.
No grey area

What the proof covers is set out in black and white.

What it settles
It covers the payment: amount, supplier, date, rule applied.
It does not cover the contents of the basket or the delivery.
No personal data is written to the ledger.
Proven in use

The MAP infrastructure is already in use.

Mes Potos is a solidarity platform that funds the concrete needs of people being supported, while tracking how every contribution is used. A complete programme: collection, issuance, allocation, payment, and every contributor sees what their euro paid for. It runs on the infrastructure we put at your disposal, with the same services and the same proof. Your programme starts from your own rules.

What you see Every payment, per role, in real time
Proof Every payment recorded on the blockchain, unalterable

Editorial staging. It represents neither a beneficiary nor a real event of the programme.
Traceability

A proof that cannot be rewritten, and exactly what it covers.

Every accepted payment becomes a sealed record on a tamper-proof blockchain, a chained ledger. Each record locks the previous one: altering an amount breaks the link, and the ledger refuses the change.

What the proof shows
  • The amount paid
  • The supplier paid
  • The date and time
  • The rule applied
What it does not show
  • The contents of the basket
  • The delivery of the goods
  • What is done with it after purchase
  • Any personal data

  2. Entry143 80,00 € sealed
  3. Entry144 45,00 € sealed
  4. Entry145 120,00 € sealed
  5. Entry146 600,00 € sealed

All the answers
Who is MAP for?

Organisations that give or collect funds for a specific use. Local authorities, companies, networks, corporate donors, foundations and endowment funds, charities and platforms. You pay out or you collect. MAP provides the account, the card, your rules and the proof of every payment.

What is an earmarkable digital euro?

Euros, on a real account, that can only be used for what you have decided. You set the rules before the money is spent: who, when, how much, where and what for. It is electronic money, issued one for one against the euros you pay in. It is neither the Eurosystem’s digital euro project nor a bank deposit.

Understanding electronic money

Does MAP provide an account, an IBAN and a card?

Yes. A real account with an IBAN, incoming and outgoing transfers. A universal payment card, not a prepaid card. Online payment, the QR code and the app, usable anywhere in the world. Your programme’s rules decide where and what they work for.

Accounts and payments

What can I decide for my programme?

Who, when, how much, where and what for. You choose the registered beneficiaries, the ceilings per transaction, per day or per month, the period, the authorised suppliers or categories, the geographic area. You allow online payment and cash withdrawals, or you do not. For example: €600.00 per household, at food suppliers in the chosen area, for three months.
